  • Apple Vision Pro shipment dates slip nearly instantly

So did Apple seriously screw up estimating how many orders there would be, or is this a Apple Marketing department scheme to hype up people into ordering before it even gets in the hands of the public and word gets out about it.

  • Apple is pushing hard to make the Mac relevant in gaming

From hardware standpoint Apple has a long way to go when it comes to gaming.   Sure Apple is putting lots of GPUs in their silicon, but Apple's GPU are puny compared to the GPU cards PC gamers are using.   Apple has a long way to go before serious gamers are going to take them seriously.

  • Apple Vision Pro shipments rumored to start as soon as February

I sure hope these people will like paying $3500 to be a beta tester.   If typical Apple timeline for major new devices or changes it will take two or three years to workout the bugs and make it something for the masses.

  • Arm wants more than $0.30 per iPhone from Apple, but won't get it

Apple would be really stupid to play games with ARM.    Apple moved to using its own chips and all are based on ARM something you don't easily change.    Apple has ridiculous profit margins and biggest tech company around they could easy pay ARM more and barely notice it, but losing ARM would cost them in a lot trying to find another partner.    Tim Cook emulating Steve Jobs bully tactics could really backfire now that you're so deep into silicon business for your own products.

  • First M3 benchmarks show big speed improvements over M2

Most of what Apple has done since the M1 add more graphics core and juggle the processing core and bump clock and M3 is no different.   Just listen to Apples presentation and how much they say graphic when talking about performance.    The know they hit point of diminishing returns for the typical Apple user with the M1.  So they are focused on graphics performance for multiple reasons.   If the screen is faster user think the compute speed is faster, that's an old IBM trick from OS2 days.   Next Mac's are used a lot in video and graphic with long render and processing time those people see reduction in long rendering and processing times.  Last Apple is talking about games but real target is video performance for the Vision Pro that is going to require lots of graphic performance.   So M3 no different focus is all on use for graphics.   Even for people doing audio/music work the M1 was plenty fast and little to no boost with the M2 and suspect the M3 won't help either other than addition RAM size will help people doing film composing and using lots of large sample libraries.
