  • Undercharged: iPhone 14 owners complain about lower battery endurance

Something that hit me is I wonder how many of the people with the fast drain on their iPhone battery are also  Apple CarPlay users.    I got a new car this year that had Apple CarPlay and I switched to Apple CarPlay and my battery was draining crazy fast.   I decided it wasn't worth it and switched back to the default car system AAOS and my iPhone battery that is still serving up music the battery stopped draining fast.   I don't know what the hell Apple CarPlay is doing other than music and maps but its keeping the iPhone real busy.

  • Apple could offer Thunderbolt cable for iPhone 15 Pro as separate purchase

Sounds like something Apple would and has done, create a situation that creates opportunity to sell you a overpriced accessory.

  • M2 Mac Studio vs Mac Pro 2023 -- compared

Apple made too big a deal about M1 and how they could make everything M-serie.    I think that was mainly Marketing shooting their mouths off without getting the details form engineering.    Then Apple realizes Apple silicon really isn't for expandable machine, so what can we do we shot our mouths off.....  wait as long as possible, put out a half ass version of the Mac Pro and when it doesn't sell we have our excuse to kill it off.    The Mac Studio was the replacement for the Mac Pro but running thier mouths put them in a sticky situation.

  • Three iPhone 15 models rumored to get Thunderbolt/USB4 connector

Once again Apple is hyping something that doesn't really benefit their average customer who isn't transfers large files.   All those user get is a spec' they can point at try to convince themselves they need, or want just to brag about something they don't use.     It like the M-series chip once you have a one the performance benefit of the later versions only benefit people doing real  production level work the average user has hit the point of diminishing returns with first M-series chip device.    This is why Apple is catering to people working in video their the one doing film and TV work that involved time consuming projects. so even a small bump in performance buys them time when viewed from the project basis.

  • Mac Pro in danger after fumbled Apple Silicon launch

I think this is the response Apple was hoping for so they have a reason to kill off the Mac Pro.     Apple SoC isn't designed to be used in a workstation type computer,  workstations need expandability for RAM and specialized boards.   The Mac Studio is the new Mac Pro for Apple SoC era.

I had a Mac Pro "Cheese grater" and they were great.    Cheese grater's were expensive, but not so much that working people couldn't afford them like the "Trash Bin" and New Cheese grater Mac Pros.    The original Cheese Grater was expandable the CPU, RAM, Storage so you could buy a base model and upgrade the components as you needed more power.    The new SoC Mac Pro lost all that and only something film studios can afford and they have issues with the restriction of the PCIe slots of the new Mac Pro.

So I think Apple know with there silicon the old idea of a Mac Pro is over so just need an excuse to EOL Mac Pro.
