Apple Vision Pro is already a win for Apple & consumers
You could argue the iPhone wasn’t “ready” when it was first released. Apple quickly saw how the device was being used and focused on improving that. I believe the same will be true for the Vision Pro, though I would say the VP is more ready based in part on the massive library of apps already available for it. But will it be mainly used for productivity or entertainment? Nobody will know until it is released into the wild. Once they know this, then they can figure out what design/form factor would compatible with it. -

So far, Apple is struggling to market Apple Vision Pro
Difficult to know what the main use case will be for most users. Is for entertainment, productivity, health, training? Maybe it will be good for all of those things, but that would make it challenging to market. They will have a good idea by the end of the year. In the meantime, we should get a flood of opinions in about two weeks. These will range from “the future of computing/entertainment” to “I don’t get it”. -

How to create custom voice commands for iPhone
Very informative article Bon. This is probably the neatest feature I’ve seen in a while. It almost seems like a replacement for Siri, at least for my purposes — do you see it that way? I’ve been running it offline and it works perfectly. Curious why this feature isn’t getting more attention — almost as if the accessibility features are versions of future baked in OS features.
