  • Logitech's new stylus for Oculus is what we want for Apple Vision Pro

Who is the “we” that wants this?  The reason they put this out is because hand recognition sucks on other headsets.  Vision Pro nails hand/finger input, just like the iPhone did in 2007.  This is a key differentiator.

  • Is Apple Intelligence artificial?

I’m with you, although you could have been sounding less wronged… I indeed think Apple is applying Ai in a useful way without the useless part of Ai (hallucination, fake articles and misinformation).

However, I wonder how far Apple Intelligence development really is, inside macOS and iOS: usually they demonstrate new features live. This time however, they showed small screencast-like sequences that could also have been edited videos of future features…

I hope everything will be finished when the final releases of iOS 18 and macOS Sequoia come out…
Apple made it clear that this would be in beta in the fall, with features rolled out over the course of the next year.  As I said, this is a solid foundation — so I’m not caught up in when any particular feature they showed will be made available.

  • Is Apple Intelligence artificial?

Great piece!  I’m right there with you.  My initial thoughts after WWDC was that they changed the narrative around “AI”, and Apple really is in the most enviable position with this technology given their user base.  They laid out a solid foundation.

  • FTC targets Adobe for deceiving consumers about early termination fees

Apple seems to be the only company that makes it dead simple to cancel a subscription.  I don’t think they get enough credit for not pulling these shenanigans that many other companies do.

  • Apple plans slimmest iPhone 17 & MacBook Pro designs following iPad Pro success

Thinner is a “process” goal.  Where is the content?  Apple has stalled.  I don’t care what they introduce but the industry needs something tangible
Making the iPhone thinner would decrease the depth and weight — you don’t think this is tangible?  And Apple improves on their OS throughout every year — you don’t think this is tangible?  What exactly do you think the word “tangible” means?
