Honestly even though I don’t watch sports it would induce me to almost buy an AVPro and a MLS subscription.  Would be great to have an AppleTV show filmed in immersion.  More my style.

I don’t think the rig will be mass produced, but there will probably be another company that puts out a consumer product does the job well enough.  Apple is probably focused on their own content with the rig they’re using.  My guess is Canon or Blackmagic will have something for this format at some point.

Seems to be the wrong focus for Microsoft — why not put r&d into chips that power your data centers?  Unless they believe the work will be done more on device and less in the cloud in the future?

Something I noticed — at the OpenAI event earlier this month, the presenters were using iPhones and MacBooks — no PCs.  Seems odd given MS being a large investor into OpenAI.

There is no way that this or any judge will be able to stipulate what the rate should be — not in a capitalistic system.  Waste of time.
