  • Apple AI is the focus of an investing firm after Apple Car's death

Apple has no problem to build EVs. All Chinese "stuffs" do. So, why not Apple?

It is about margins, capex, FCF, earnings etc.
And besides, it is all about distinguished user experience and fully autonomous driven cars (lv.4 or 5), but it is not possible.

I work in the automotive industry. I can tell you that the automotive industry is a low maring dinosaur. And claim costs are higher than development costs. You know that there are a lot of defect cars and claims.
I would not know how Apple would handle those claims.

It just signals that Apple is struggling for their future projects. It is brave to give up a big project. It takes courages to do that, but what will the next growth story be?

Just integrating "some AI stuffs" on iPhones?

Let's.. Many seem to bet against Apple nowadays and predict their legacy going down.

Maybe, they are right..... or not..

I am convinced that we need a new CEO who is dynamic and drives more innovative activities.
After Job's death, the execution and operating phase was initated. Tim Cook is excellent at that, but now, the executing phase seems to be over. We are turning again to an innovation phase.
Is Tim Cook still the right CEO? Yes, No, Maybe..

  • Decade-old Apple Car project may be completely dead

All employees are shifted to Generative AI.
It shows how urgent it is to develop Generative AI.
It shows how the pressure is to bring out some functions related to Generative AI.

Apple is far behind at Generative AI.

Apple Car has never made sense.

  • Apple's 'Ask' project may be far more than just an AI-assisted support tool

What Apple is advertising with their Generative AI is nothing more than what Google Pixel phones or S24 already have, which is already dedicated Machine Learning hardware and ML models that run on the phone s to do things like real time transcribing, image recognition etc.
These are not LLMs nor comparable to what ChatGPT has already brought out.

As LLM usage is quite limited in terms of their capacities and storages running on the phone, this function is just limited to AppleCare (all necessary data for AppleCare can be handled with their chip capacitiy).

At the end, something interesting and exciting (if!) only for AppleCare customers.

  • iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Plus rumored to get Always-On and ProMotion displays

iPhone 16 is not even out. And now, we are talking about iPhone 17.....

If 120Hz is true, it is already overdue.. It is about time.

BOE..... Well... Apple is a control freak. Who works in this field, everybody knows that Apple is a control freak. Apple knows every display´s supplier and their processes better than their suppliers.
Apple just gives receipts what raw materials to be used and process parameters to be set.
Therefore, I do not understand why BOE can´t catch up with all requirements and solutions given by Apple.

  • Apple's annual shareholder meeting tackling conservative fears, China, equality, & AI

I am really surprised that the company performance and guidance do not seem to be highlighted.

Here, we are only talking about gender pay gap, civiel liberties, human rights etc.?

    I would be interested:

    1) How is the current situation in China? How can Apple overcome the headwind facing in China? What are their strategies?
    2) What are Apple´s strategies to boost their revenue growth? The revenue growth is tanking from year to year (only +2% in 2023).
    3) What does Apple try to bring for iPhone 16 and other wearables for their sales growth?
    4) What is Apple´s AI strategy in the future?
    5) What is the possible outcome from EU and DOJ? Can Chrome remain on iOS? If not, what kind of impacts does it give on Apple's financial performance?

I hope Tim Cook and the board members will be challenged and sensibilized.

    Thanks!
Other than maybe China, they’re not going to talk about any of these, saying something like ‘we don’t comment on unannounced products.’
It sounds like AAPL has no idea at all what to say or how to say.
