Adobe did a great job with Creative cloud and Behance. They are building a creative community around their tools. Notice how everything is integrated into their Adobe website: your profile, access to Behance, and their products.

True, the functionality of Behance is a bit limited. But again, it is a solid foundation to build upon. Much more relevant to creative professionals than the career focused corporate LinkedIn.

I hope someone at Apple takes notice. Apple has great products and services, but they are all over the place, without any sense of purpose. Shame.

Apple is not all over the place and what do you mean by that?

Every Apple device talks to each other - you can check your msg with every Apple device you own and you can even share your work with others.

As for Adobe if I am not mistaken you need to have a subscription with them otherwise you are locked out but not with Apple.

One more thing can one use the iPad to look into a photoshop file in the cloud.
    1. I am referring to Apple.com and iCloud.com. Let alone iTunes …
    2. You don't need to be a Creative cloud subscriber to have access to the Behance creative social network.
    3. Creative cloud allows you to view and open your files on any device.

  • Jimmy Iovine says Apple Music creating 'pop cultural' experience with new TV content

I've rarely heard a senior executive at Apple -- no, make that a Fortune 50 company -- make less sense. There is not one coherent sentence there.

Apple, please stop putting this guy in front of the media.
Totally agree. Though I think Neil Cybart at aboveavalon.com might be on to something. Create a subsidiary called Apple Studios. It would house all of Apple's current and future content business. It would be owned by Apple but mostly autonomous. And I would add to that, have it be based out of LA, let Eddy Cue run it and turn over all of the cloud, AI, Siri, Maps stuff he has to someone else, preferably a new SVP of cloud services. Wall Street would love it because they want Apple to beef up subscription services AND improve cloud services. And it would be a win for consumers because Eddy Cue would no longer oversee Apple's cloud services. I could go for that.

Leave the content to the content creators.

We need  Life instead. Something that bundles all the scattered Apple services together.

  • Apple on track to launch three new iPads in spring 2017, but none of them mini

The iPad mini is perfect for reading books:

    1. The line length of the pages in iBooks is between 45 and 75 characters, which makes for comfortable reading.
    2. And the iPad is comfortable to hold because of its small form factor & weight.

It is the best iPad I've ever had. Just make it compatible with the pencil.
