I guess we will all find out in 6 days time.
Apple has hit home runs with most of their new product types since the introduction of the iMac.   There haven't been many failures especially in recent years.  Price has sometimes been an issue even when the iPhone was first released.  It may be that this device will be viewed as expensive initially but will come down in price over time.
It will be also interesting what the initial applications will be.  I doubt that they will necessarily be what average users will need.

Competition is good and it will keep Apple on its toes. I would have been more worried if this was a ARM based chip because that is really the future of PCs.  That AMD is still focusing on X86 chips shows they do not understand that.
I wonder what the cost difference will be.  Apple can put M2 chips into relatively cheap units.  Will this new AMD chip be that cost effective?

I'm alway blown away at the performance of my M1 powered MBP especially on battery.  M2 is nearly at the end of its life cycle so how much more faster will the M3 be?

It amazes me how every innovation gets exploited by the criminal element.  It takes years for the industry to catch up and provide some level of protection.  In the meantime many people's lives are being ruined.  I expect ChatGPT to be a major source for criminal to exploit people.

This sounds cool and does away with the new for a power inverter for charging laptops.  Sill a bit pricey but good if you are on the road a lot.

We used to have these rumor mills all the time 15+ years ago and the stock was very susceptible then.  Now Apple has a wider platform of products and rumors are less effective.
