  • Berlin Apple Store vandalized by Congo activists

Generally, when I see abusive, obstructive, or disruptive protesting of nearly any type, I like to support/do the opposite of their desire.

    There.

  • Apple's 'Crush' iPad Pro ad sparks intense backlash from creatives

What was missing was at the end - all the crushed elements should have been represented on the final shot of the iPad screen, upbeat and animated... thought this the second I saw the ad. I would have made the ad much more about evolution, not scorched earth...

  • Unistellar Odyssey Pro review: Unlock pro-level astronomy with your iPhone from your backy...

Anytime I see sample images from this company I am completely underwhelmed.  I appreciate what they are attempting here, and I would love something like this, but they need substantially better optics and sensor resolution to get me to sniff more closely. It's the kind of thing I think I would use three hours and lose interest

  • Apple's FineWoven case and Apple Watch band lineup may have been cut short

While I have a fine woven case, and it’s not terrible at all (and easily washable to bring back a much more uniform color), my next case will be leather. I much preferred the feel and natural patina of a leather case, and if the posted “evaluation” has reasonable merit, there is questionable benefit to fine woven from an environmental perspective considering its contents and post-use recyclability.

Not that I get overly caught up with all that. I just want a case that feels proper in my hand, and the current fine woven case is rather slippery because of the edge finish compared to leather,

  • Jony Ive is now looking for funding to jump on the AI development train

I thought Love, From was essential a design firm, which is how Ives deservedly earned his reknown. But not the HW/SW technical underbelly. So Altman and Ive seek a billion dollars for ... an idea? I would think big money would be considered only after a lot more sweat and tears development have been shed, and prototypes have been produced. If its true, that's a lot of money to ask without any mention of the technical and manufacturing prowess underpinning the idear. Sounds like he misses Apple!
