'Wolfs' is the most-watched movie on Apple TV+ ever
Watched this with my wife and son a few days back. It wanted to be a Shane Black movie, but didn't have his sensibilities, rhythm, energy, or smartness (see The Nice Guys for how it's done - a movie that gets more than a few nods from in "Wolf").
Some smart dialogue, but it felt very oddly paced, sparse, and aimless. There's no way this should have been a theatrical release - it quite firmly has a made for TV feel.
These streamers need to focus on quality scripts first and foremost. "Wolfs" needed one.

Apple may be already lining up suppliers for a second Apple Vision headset
I did a few in-store demo's of the Vision Pro, and the last thing I would want to see is LESS resolution. I found text and icons to be quite soft, so despite the high native resolution of these panels per eye, I've come to learn what I am experiencing a low PPD (pixels per degree). I think the Vision Pro is 34 ppd, and the iPhone typical distance or a 65 4k TV at 7 feet away is about 90 ppd (see the video below as the source for this; presuming he is accurate) So while the best in the industry for headsets, it is significantly inferior tother everyday tech viewing at "normal" distances.
Even at 8k per eye, it would be less than a iPhone, but probably good enough. As it stands, between the PPD issue and poor pass though quality, and noticeable glare - I cannot buy one, even though there is lots else to admire about it.

EU hits back at Apple withholding Apple Intelligence from the region
VictorMortimer said:Intentionally omitting features as retaliation? Yeah, Apple is gonna LOVE the multi-billion fine for this little stunt. The EU is done playing. Apple will behave, or they will PAY.
Think about how faulty your logic is.
The faster the EU toss Vestager and the commission they better they will be.

EU has very serious issues with Apple, says competition chief
nubus said:Vestager is ultra pro open markets. It seems not all here get that part. She is pushing for competition all the way by keeping competition fair. If you're like Apple doing tax evasion with a "Double Irish with Dutch Sandwich" model then you can expect to take some heat. And EU is by the way not keeping fines. Those fines are 1:1 deducted from what the countries pay and EU can't charge taxes on their own. EU is not like the US government.
If Apple can't handle a person running things by the book, fighting for open markets, and being passionate about fair competition then the person replacing Vestager later this year will be a nightmare to Apple. The election earlier this month gave nationalistic parties more votes. Trade protectionism is high on their agenda. Tim Cook shouting at Vestager has all the way been very unprofessional. You don't see him like that when working with communist dictatorships.
Forcing Apple to promote a competitor is nonsense, and investing CTF as though Apple has no right to profit from its IP is insanity at any level. It's the competitors who want unfair access to Apple's ecosystem without paying a thing. Vestegar and her cronies are looking to milk money and unfairly leverage Apple's success for its regional corporations.
It's utter horseshit.
