Meh, most of the general public isn’t doing anything with “AI”… there’s plenty of time… most still can’t define it.

When you read the stipulations the judicial branch is stating Apple must follow for its own product/service ecosystem, with no illegal monopoly found, is utterly insane. There are thousands of examples one could rattle off in which no other company in the nation would be compelled to follow this way.

The lack of logic is astounding.

Can Apple now freely make Apple Music purchases or monthly streaming available on the Spotify platform? Does Apple get shelf space for Arcade freely on Epic's platform? Does Hugo Boss get to sell its clothing in Nordstroms and collection 100% of the sale and pay no rent or other costs for leveraging Nordstroms floor space, utilities, marketing, advertising, brand equity, security, retail magnetism? OR conversely, can Boss put up signs (freely or otherwise) in Nordstroms directing people to go out into the mall and visit their corporate retail location?

Why stop here? Why not force Apple to allow third party operating systems? Why have Apple at all?

Whatever you think about Trump, it will be a far better four years than corrupt, derelict, puppet presidency of a senile man trying to prop up divisive, anti-American and (finally) dying, stale liberal policies. Just saying. Enjoy fellas!

Regarding donations: it's legal.

Regarding Biden generally "getting less" from the tech firms for his inauguration. Of course. Why show support to man who was going to sic regulatory and judicial harassment on their industry? It's not very different than any one of us making donations to a candidate. You do so to support your desire for political direction and policy. They are showing they like what they perceive Trump will mean to American innovation vs the prior administration. And hopefully he will extend and exert US influence to the EU and others who are damaging and extorting US companies through mostly non-sensical punitive financial and business-alerting regulatory actions.

 Actually good leaders love diversity as it creates room for everyone in to team to lead from the side and show what they capable of.

Good leaders look to hire the best person for the job, race or ethnicity be damned. It wouldn't be very comforting to go into major surgery with a doctor who was hired because of DEI, even if better candidates were passed over because of the initiative. 

If you're saying people are being passed over because of their sex, race, or ethnicity, there are ample existing laws on the books to bring action against those practicing discriminatory behavior.

DEI is dying and good riddance.

Any company that hopes to succeed is not filtering people out because of their sex, race, or ethnicity. Good workers are good workers. End of story.

What is the definition of “white”? I look white by every definition, but had a half middle eastern / half Eastern European heritage. But I’m a white….minority??
