Parallels, VMWare confirm Apple M1 support amid silence from other virtualization companie...
mr. h said:From reading their page about it, it seems like this new version is going to still be a purely virtualisation software, with no emulation. So if you want to run Windows with it, it'll have to be the ARM version of Windows. However, apparently Microsoft have announced a "Rosetta"-type layer for Windows for ARM, that will allow you to run x64 code in Windows for ARM.
Here’s hoping Parallels is working on emulation for their next big release. -
Apple Silicon M1 Macs do not support eGPUs

Much ado about nothing as always.
Give Apple time. This is round 1 of the M1 and Apple did a lot to improve the compute experience of probably 90% of their customer base. Apple goes with what’s ready at the time when they are ready to launch. They could have waited a year to make the switch to Core 2 Duo’s when they made the switch but they didn’t. -

Sorry you disagree, but there are far better options out there for a lot less than $148.Waiting...
In the mean time there are many options without MagSafe that work exceptionally well and are ~ $90 - $100 cheaper.
I'm surprised at all your bad luck. Surprising for someone as intelligent as you. Maybe you are better off sticking to all Apple products. -
