Apple reportedly pushing for follow-up to Mariah Carey's Christmas Special in 2021
entropys said:You have to admit, it is the mark of a true Diva that Mariah can relegate the likes of Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson to backup singer status in a single song.
yes I watched it, and am still mentally scarred by the experience.lkrupp said:Liberace once said that when reviews of his performances were bad he cried all the way to the bank. So tech blog denizens trash Mariah Carey and want to hide her image from their devices? She has more money and more fame than any of us will ever have in our life times. Nuff said.
And just like the constant whining and crying about Apple’s supposedly overpriced gear, Apple cries all the way to the bank too.
She also has more custom silicon in her than the current Mac line-up. Should we feel inferior for that as well? -

Late to 5G and scrambling to homebrew a 5G modem. They missed that particular puck altogether.
To buy the Intel Wireless business and then to do what Apple does best in these circumstances... i.e. Take their time to develop something that works is hardly scrambling in my mind. I guess that your homebrew 5G modem is the best in the world? Now back on topic.MS has a mountain to climb to get anywhere near the M1 in terms of performance. AFAIK, MS does not have the same sort of ARM license as Apple. Even if they did, it will take them a lot of time to get their new CPU anywhere near the performance/operation that Apple has done with the M1.We shall all have to sit back and wait and see what MS comes up with by the time they get to V2 of their CPU. -
