Microsoft will 'absolutely' bring xCloud to iOS and iPadOS, targeting 2021 launch
One more thing...
Wouldn’t it be great if Microsoft built a web-app-store for web-app developers to submit their web-apps to with no review process, no rules and no revenue to Apple. That should prove and show loudly that the native-app-store is not the only route to getting software on an iOS device. -

So MS are following Amazon in doing what they should have from the start instead of whinging about other companies rules on other companies platforms.I’m glad sanity is prevailing and MS and Amazon have to not be lazy if they want to free-load on Apple users. The other good thing anout this is that it will show that Epic are a bunch of pathetic cry-babies that don’t want to put any effort in but want all the rewards cost-free from Apple’s work in building a successful platform. After all, Epic could build a web-app steaming version of Fortnite if they wanted... -
Ex-App Store head says Apple Arcade violates Apple's own policies
Movies, music and books are not non-linear. You can’t have a music mp3 file that has a hidde porn video in the middle and get it past Apple. With games that would be possible so games need reviewing. Each and every one.
I thought the whole MS Office suite was now available as Progressive Web Apps? If so, aren’t Excel etc. already available on iOS devices outside of the app-store? This is how the new Amazon streaming gaming service will work, MS etc. Just need to follow the same path, implement your game streaming service outside the app-store and you don’t have to follow Apple rules or pay Apple 30%. Epic could do the same with a solution for Fortnite if they could be bothered to do the work like Amazon are. -
House Judiciary says Apple enjoys monopoly power with App Store
gc_uk saidPlease give one example of software you can buy for an Apple mobile device outside the Apple App Store.Companies generally don’t want to develop software for delivery outside the app store as they would then have to market and distribute without Apple. The new streaming gaming service by Amazon that won’t use the app store can’t come soon enough to shut the clueless up.
