Mark Zuckerberg calls Tim Cook's anti-Facebook retort 'glib,' defends ad-based model
I think facebook knowingly sold the data to Cambridge Analitica.
FaceBook does care about its community because the community's information is worth a lot to the likes of Cambridge Analitica.
Tim Cook simply stated the truth that facebook makes money from advertising and selling user info. That is just a fact.
Selling of data can be done responsibly with user's consent or irresponsibly like Cambridge Analitica.
FaceBook should have known what CA was planning to do with all of its data. -
Apple's Siri history was plagued by infighting, mistakes and developer alienation, report ...
I use SIRI all the time and it works just fine.
SIRI has the best voice.
Apple Maps totally Rocks with SIRI.
Home automation works great with all the lights in my house using Lutron Cassetta HomeKit switches.
One of my favorite SIRI tricks is to solve math problems such as integrals and derivatives of bizarre functions using the Wolfram Alpha back-end. It totally rocks. -
Apple adds 22 more banks to list of institutions supporting Apple Pay
mike1 said:crabby said:It's not the Banks- it is the lack of Merchant embrace which is keeping this thing from soaring in utilization. Invest a couple Million & give the reader away so it catches on.
Walmart's stock went down 10% today. Let them keep choosing not to accept Electronic Payments like Apple Pay.
Walgreens Pharmacy accepts Apple Pay, CVS does not. I use Walgreens, Toys & Babies R Us, Macys etc...
Apple should promote the stores that accept Apple Pay.
