iPhone 15 Pro rumored to get solid-state volume & power buttons

Kuo didn't say capacitive buttons, so they presumably won't be your typical capacity button. What's the point of adding more linear oscillators for the just these buttons? Seems like a lot of work for really no real gains.
I hope this is correct. I've seen many, many car reviewers dumping on capacitive buttons as automotive controls - they apparently suck.

Apple halts gambling ads in App Store
There are a number of ads I have seen that are questionable - or at least the game they are advertising is. One series involves a woman being yelled at, hit and thrown out of her house with small child in tow. The player then has to make decisions to help her. Another has a woman discovering she is pregnant and her husband/boyfriend runs off leaving her. I've also seen others with semi-sexual content as well. What the hell? No one at Apple is looking at these ads. -
Jony Ive's replacement Evans Hankey is leaving Apple

They seem to think that Apple has done this many times in the past and now the lack of utterly new products is some sign of failure.Apple didn't invent the personal computer.Apple didn't invent the cellular telephony system.Apple didn't invent digital watches.Apple didn't invent MP3 players.Apple didn't invent microchips.Apple didn't invent laptop/notebook computers.Apple didn't invent high quality LCD monitors.Apple didn't invent voice controlled home assistants.Apple didn't invent tablet computers. And yet they have made trillions from all of the above products.Apple has always improved on others creations. They still create, but they don't always originate. The exit of a lead designer is not a sign of anything. It's just a person making a change in their life.

LinkedIn bot battle wipes 50% of Apple employee accounts
I had a linked in quite some time ago, but deleted it. I didn't like having my real name loose on the Internet. Why would they not require some sort of authentication to create and sign in to an account? Seems like that would eliminate true bots very easily.BTW deleting an account there was not straightforward at all, they had it well hidden. Might be easier to do nowadays.

If you want to work for Apple, Tim Cook says you need four traits
Apple has many, many locations around the world that employ tens of thousands of people, so you don't always have to move to Cupertino. Apple plans to have 15,000 workers in Austin alone once all the campus buildouts are finished. I'm sure the traits Tim listed are desireable everywhere, not just Cupertino.
