Maxed-out Apple Silicon Mac Pro costs 1/4 what a maxed Intel one did
blastdoor said:So…. Can you put co-processing cards — like GPUs — in those pci slots or are they only for fast SSD storage?
I wonder if people still want to use Nvidia cards in this thing? I remember when the last one came out there were people in video editing/coloring/graphics that were disappointed at the continuing lack of Nvida support. I thnk they wer only interested in the cards as GPUs for specific apps - not for feeding displays.

Apple Vision Pro $3,499 mixed-reality headset launches at WWDC after years of rumors
This is a VERY Apple device. Those saying otherwise are just being willfully contrary. Everything about it screams Apple - both inside and out. That being said, it's not for me - I seem to have a limit on how much tech interaction I can handle. I couldn't even manage to wear an Apple watch for more than a couple weeks before I put it on my dresser and forgot about it. -

15.5-inch MacBook Air rumored to arrive in early April 2023
I would buy a 15.5" Air immediately. My 2017 15" MBP is still performs well, but even after a keyboard and battery replacement (free via Apple) I've now got key caps that are cracked. There will probably be another keyboard failure in it's future and that one won't be free. The Air would be a lot faster and the big screen is what I prefer for my elderly vision. Don't need the extra CPU/graphics power of an MBP any longer. I hope this rumor turns out to be correct.
