Apple's long-rumored 27-inch mini LED display probably isn't happening
I haven't seen Apple this "confused" as a company since just prior to the return of Jobs. As Jobs said "eventually the Designers are replaced by sales and marketing"
When you see a company struggling to make decisions on products they need an infusion of some mojo.
Why is Apple so focused on OLED or Mini-LED? Jobs never spent much time talking about specific tech "ingredients" until he was doing a demo on a product about ready to go on sale. Everyone has access to OLED or Mini-LED.
This next 18 months is going to be pivotal for a lot of tech companies. -
Philips Hue bulbs won't get Matter support when promised
Ive begun to move away from Philips. They've gotten stale yet still think they command premium pricing.
The new Nanoleaf Essential line just announced should trounce Hue in price/performance.
The new Lytmi box is clearly better than the Hue Play at syncing lights to video content.
I'm not bullish on Hue being able to stay ahead of the led market in general. Goveee is eating them up from the low end
the higher end wants 0-10v or DMX support.
There's less of a reason to need to buy into the Hue ecosystem. I might buy one or two more Hue products but that's about it.

Apple-led ARM computer sales resilient, as PC industry declines
The PC market has been in trouble for a half decade at least.
Just like the high end custom big iron processors of yesteryear were replaced by the plucky Intel utilitarian CPU the
move to high efficient processing platforms has eradicated the need for high wattage CPU.
The chasm between productivity computing and gaming has never been larger. The gaming sector alone is propping up
Dinosaurs like ATX cases, replete with numerous fans.
Businesses are well covered by SFF computing (NUC and the like). Intel has been counseled for years about the need to
field a strong ARM competitor and they've just not enough headway.
I'm honestly more excited about the Raspberry Pi 5 (whenever it comes out) than I am about Intel's latest CPU releases (I know sample size but heh)
