It's a CAR SERVICE. You subscribe. Access to certain amount of hours or types of vehicles. It's for urban markets. It will save you the waste of paying for a car that mainly sits in your driveway most of its life. These isn't a more wasteful and 19th century technology and system in place than automobiles right now.

And it’s awesome he has plenty of other platforms to make this for. That’s his right. He’s a private company, basically, and controls his business decisions. But he wants the Govt to control Apples…got it.

It’s not about consumer choice, or making a better system it’s about other companies that ‘want in’ on making more money without providing service, safety or taking responsibility for what they do. A modern phone is not a 1990’s PC market and letting a company that designs and build hardware NOT control the software is a giant backwards step and everyone would come to regret it if it moved forward. If it’s overly broad it will kill a lot of markets. If it’s tailored just to ‘phone’ marketplaces ask yourself WHY? 

I will give Samsung credit for turning out ever increasing amounts of confusingly named and badly differentiated products. From toilets to toothbrushes their isn’t a product category they aren’t in. Focus may not be their strong suit but like spreading just a little butter over 38 loaves of bread - you get something in every bite, even if it’s not worth it. How much support do they get from the Korean Govt? Is it ‘anti-American’ to buy from them?
