  • Control your Bentley's seat massagers from your wrist with new Apple Watch app

I think these Watch Apps are cool and I applaud the developers and Bentley Motors for being innovative, but alas Apple really needs to do something to improve the experience of using Watch Apps.  I've downloaded a few and sometimes they never load properly and other (or actually most) times, the apps are so slow.  They don't even register swipes and presses sometimes.  And this even of their own Apple Apps.  Anyway, it will all get better and cool things like this will really drive up Apple Watch sales and make having an Apple Watch cool and a must have.

I agree 100% with this statement.  I get so nervous when someone asks me to "show me what you can do with your watch" because I know most of the time, apps (including Apple's) take forever to load - or don't load - and it's somewhat embarrassing that I've paid $500 bucks for a watch that doesn't work as it should.  I tried using Apple Pay on my watch the other day, double-clicked the side button - - - wouldn't open my credit card so I could tap-to-pay - - it kept opening my fav contacts dial instead.  Get home later, double-clicked my side button and wah-lah - there appeared my credit card ready to pay.  Annoying & disappointing.

I really hope Apple Watch 2 is a vast improvement in responsiveness and reliability that I've become accustomed to with my other Apple products.

Every.Single.Time with me and that Apple Pay.  I have done exactly what you described.  One time I got so frustrated that the Credit Card didn't come up that I just pulled out the bloody credit card and paid for it old school.  I mean it's my fault I don't use the feature enough but it was just funny to read someone else doing the same thing! :)

  • Apple stock posts longest losing streak in 18 years

Who was the guy again claiming to have bought hundreds of share at $100 the other day? You have all my sympathy.

Well, I'm not ashamed to say I bought at $127.00.  This is because I own the company.  I'm not a day trader of Apple stocks.  And every time I walk into an Apple Store I'm glad I'm an owner of the company.  I see young adults getting their first smart phone with their parents at their side.  I see Grandparents being treated with kindness as they buy their first iPad to FaceTime with their Grandkids.  I see young kids sitting near the kids section playing Angry Birds (or something like that)...with smile on their faces.  Yes, this is what I own...it doesn't matter I paid as much as I did.  Apple has things their pipeline.  We think we know all that goes on behind closed doors but we don't.  At this point, it would hard for any other company to come in and simply overtake Apple.  Sure, they can come out with a cooler (and cheaper) phones but what about the infrastructure to support it?  Yea, that part no one talks about...just Apple products are so expensive and not innovative.

Anyway, no need to have sympathy for me.  As a matter of fact you should congratulate me for being an owner of one of the best companies on the planet!!  :)

  • Apple adds $50B to capital return program, increases quarterly dividend by 10%

Hello, perhaps AppleInsider is not the best place to ask and learn about how stock buy back works but most everyone seems pretty knowledgeable (at least more than me).  So I wanted to ask.  I purchased my shares at $127.00.  Yes, it hasn't been easy to watch the share price plummet on me but I will hold onto the stock so as long as I use Apple products (which I do).

My one question is that I always thought when companies bought back shares of their own stock that that is supposed to be good for the shareholder and the price ought to go up a little bit.  As I understood the Supply is going down so technically people ought to be paying more to own the fewer shares available.  But that doesn't seem to happen (at least not to the guy holding at $127.00).  So if it doesn't really cause the price to go up for us Shareholders why does Apple keep buying back shares?  Perhaps they can spend that money on something else?  Please don't make too much fun of me for asking this naïve question.

So thank you in advance for any insight and understanding.
