Apple sued for not paying New York Apple Store staff weekly
This sounds like some entitled young person who has no idea what manual labor really is. There are plenty of other retail stores in New York that will provide sufficient context for this. I used to carry my company laptop around and occasionally refill the printer in the office when it was out of paper, but I certainly didn’t consider myself a manual laborer.
On the plus side, for the rest of Raven Ramos’ life, whenever a prospective employer googles their name, this will probably come up in the results. -

What it took for Apple to win Best Picture at the Oscars with 'CODA'
I imagine that elsewhere there is less emphasis on Apple’s perceived victory, but to be fair, this is a website about Apple. They didn’t write produce or develop the picture, but they identified it as great programming and were willing to reward the filmmakers accordingly. Given that it was based on a French film from 2014, the credit probably deserves to be distributed even more widely than usual. But for Apple, it does constitute a victory of sorts, to be sure, from a business perspective at least.

Spotify users will get to choose whether to pay directly, or via Google Play
I’d like to see the option of paying musicians directly or via Spotify. I mean, Spotify is just providing a software platform for data delivery, it’s not like they’re providing the music.I’m sort of kidding, of course, but it’s funny to discount the value of a software platform when what you yourself are selling is software that runs within that software. And what cut of revenues does Spotify keep for itself? Roughly a third. Sound familiar? -
iPad Air 5 review roundup: A great yet confounding value proposition
The iPad Pro also has 4 speakers compared with the 2 of the Air, which matters more for the many people like myself who will never need more than 128gb of storage in their iPad but will often watch content with audio on their device.
And I’d be interested to hear if anyone disagrees, but I think Apple should design all of their iPads to be used primarily in landscape mode, with cameras and speakers oriented accordingly. In 11+ years of iPad ownership, I’ve almost never used one in portrait mode.
