Dropbox releases office suite Paper out of beta, launches Smart Sync
I like the Smart Sync concept in regards to freeing up local disc space, but if you lose connectivity, you are temporarily screwed if there are docs only saved to the cloud that you need to access. Also, having every file saved locally gives me a little piece of mind that I have all my stuff if something were to happen with the cloud servers. Are all of the files saved only to the cloud automatically backed up by Dropbox? I'm assuming (hoping) they have some kind of redundancy built into their server storage architecture, but I don't know for sure. -
DirecTV Now breaks 200,000 subscribers in problematic first month of service
I did the 3-month deal for the free Apple TV and I've had very few problems with using it on both the Apple TV and on my iPhone 5S. In fact, I'm watching CNN on my iPhone right now. I was planning to cancel after 3 months, but if they continue to give me the $60 plan for $35, I may just keep it for a while. I also did a 3-month trial of Sling TV and have have many more connection problems with Sling TV. -
Amazon's Music Unlimited upgrades with monthly & annual Family plans
sog35 said:Apple Music should be $4.99 for individual
$8.99 for 2
$11.99 for 3
$13.99 for 4
Current prices are way too high.I don't think current prices are "way too high". Apple Music is $9.99/month. Let's say you listen to music when you are working, driving, exercising at the gym, cleaning around the house, jogging, partying, etc., and on average you listen to music about an hour a day. So that's about 30 hours each month. At $9.99/month that's 33 cents per hour of listening. Taking an average song length of five minutes (it's probably actually less), that's 12 songs per hour, or less than three cents per song. And if you listen to more than one hour of music per day it's even less than that. When a cup of coffee costs $3-5, do you really think it's too expensive to pay less than three cents to listen to a song? -
Pro video editor with hands-on time praises new MacBook Pro for Touch Bar & speed
So someone who received a product from a company (possibly for free) before the product is even shipping is spouting high praise. Isn't that par for the course...business as usual...you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours? I'm sure the new MBP is a great machine, but I'll take this particular review with a grain of salt.
