Apple's 2010 15- & 17-inch MacBook Pros, 2009 Xserve become 'vintage'
I can still get batteries (as of last year, anyway) for my early 2008 MacBook Pro 15-inch (upgraded to 6GB RAM.) Still looks *brand new* and it runs El Cap very nicely, including all the software I need and enjoy.
I don't really expect anyone to service it through official channels at this point (nor did I expect that even two years ago), and I'm content to let her run as-is until I finally upgrade. No complaints, really. -
Apple CEO Tim Cook attends secret meeting with tech and government elite to plot end to Trump presi
apple ][ said:Haha, the elites are getting more and more desperate. How pathetic.
Any fascist elites who believe that they have the right to dictate who the common man votes for should probably all move to North Korea, as they would fit in much better there.
So you've got a problem with "fascist elites", but you're green-lighting an amoral, sociopathic bigot.

Oculus founder says no Mac support coming until Apple builds 'good' system with better graphics

Or the fact that Macs actually outpace the PC market in growth regularly (even during economic downturns)? Or that Apple actually makes a healthy profit from their Mac business? Or that nothing in the space compares to the build quality and fit and finish of Macs? Or that OS X is an OS that is actually done right, designed with the USER in mind?
Truth.
It most certainly does. It addresses the implication re: "If they ever release a good computer, we will do it,"
It also dispels the notion that "good" = high-end video card, when Apple is already, plainly and by every objective standard established as the maker of the best computers in the business in terms of overall value and user experience.
