As for the dividends, it ain't that much for us small timers. Keeps us in coffee and a sweet roll, but that's about it. 

Even though I’m making about as much with AAPL dividends as I make from my annual salary, I’ve never been a fan of the dividends or buybacks. They’re both signs of a lack of creativity with their cash. Apple has a massive war chest and a CEO more concerned about appeasing critics and making political points than pouring the money back into the company.

The real problem is that they pay dividends at all. There's a reason why Steve Jobs hoarded all that cash when he was alive. Every true entrepreneur knows that cash is king. It's the lifeblood that keeps the lights on. Steve learned from his failures like Next and Pixar that the only thing that made them work was cash on hand to keep going. Pixar was only a few months away from closing before their hit Toy Story. Jobs spent ten years propping up that company and most of his Apple fortune. If he didn't have that Apple money, Pixar would have shut down years before Toy Story and history would have been very different.

Cook's not an entrepreneur. Neither are any of the board members. That's why they made the stupid decision to pay dividends. What they should be doing is hoard cash. As the old saying goes that eventually, an idiot will run the company and you want as much runway as you can have for the company to turn around.

The real story here is that we’re so stupid that we can’t beat the Chinese at manufacturing cutting edge chips, at any price. We invented this industry and now we’ve lost it. Does no one else feel the shame?

I don't know why people are not concerned about the red Chinese hiring away TSMC blue Chinese engineers. No one here seems to be concerned that China is about to become technologically superior to us in advanced semiconductor production. They already beat us in infrastructure building. Just how many industries will we continue to lose before we wake the f&^k up? Later, they can just cut us off from their supply and there won't be a damn thing we can do about it since we're too dumb to produce any here in the U.S.

Not only that but the Trump administration should also be sanctioned for violating human rights at the southern border. Funny how hypocrisy works huh?
