I don't add "in my opinion" to everything I say because everything I say is my opinion.  I'm not wasting keystrokes on clarifying to pedants what they should already be able to discern.

  • Apple has reportedly rejected TSMC chip price hike

Risky, when we're still in the tailwind of a chip shortage.  I doubt TSMC will have trouble finding other customers, but there aren't many alternatives who can supply Apple at such scale and sophistication.

  • Rihanna to headline Apple Music's Super Bowl Halftime Show

Not that long ago, tramps like Riri made their living on street corners. Today they spew trash from their foul mouths and parade around like "ladies of the night", and make millions. No, I'm not a prude, just using words that won't get censored. Interestingly, Apple will let you play the most disgusting and vile songs from these "ladies" (as will every streaming service) but if you even hint at some of the words they use in a review, Apple will reject it and flip you the bird at the same time. Of course, this is true of most of the rap community. I use Rhianna here because she's the heart of the story.

I get worked up about this because these are the "stars" that our kids model themselves after. So, this is not a simple free-speech issue at all.
You seem to be under the impression that Rihanna is a rapper. She is not.

Is nomenclature really al that important or even interesting?
Apple will not be going wireless with no port because you need to be able to transfer data such as high resolution pics/video and wireless isn’t efficient at that yet.
If data rates were a concern Apple would have upgraded Lightning a long time ago.  To my knowledge, Apple have never released a Lightning connector capable of above USB2 data rates, 480Mbps.  Wi-Fi 6 can be significantly faster than that, with real world data rates around 1.2Gbps and Wi-Fi 7 is looking at topping out at 40Gbps, real world world TBC.

Power consumption during the transfer will certainly be higher, if that's what you're getting at with efficiency, but I'm not sure that's a major concern, Apple can mitigate it.

  • Apple's Battersea Power Station offices in London opening soon

I think being the cover of a Pink Floyd album is a fair bit more iconic than once being in an episode of Doctor Who.  Damn cool place to have an office though.

Interesting enough, that Apple recommends on their Website to have a backup computer,
    Does it?  That’s hilarious
