    I’m sure come next week, all will be undone again and he will be up to 200% and demanding more foreign leaders kiss his rear. 

    No international business that deals with the US can plan investment right now.  The US is too unpredictable and volatile. Nobody knows what the mad king will do next. The impact will be massive.

    Surprised considering how well the 16 and 16 plus have been reviewed. 
    A much better value proposition than the PRO … but people still prefer the PRO if they can justify the extra cost. 
    That pesky zoom camera and 120hz display ! Counter argument is that many look at the absence of these things on the 16/16+ and think it’s hobbled in some way, so the real entry price of the 16 series is the 16 Pro (for the majority).  I’m probably in that boat.

    Really good review. My s7 Alu looks  terrible these days thanks to the ion scratch magnet glass screen.  
    I’ve tried to order a Series 10 a few times in the UK. Specifically the titanium edition for the sapphire screen but the dates are always far out due to the band choices I want.  Seems like some bands will set you back a few weeks ! 
    I probably just need to commit and order .. then wait 4-6wks. Looking more like a Xmas present at this point now.

    The lack of 120hz on the 16 is a joke at this price.  Some can’t tell but it’s very noticeable when reading or looking at moving / scrolling text. So noticeable that using a 60hz display afterwards is unpleasant. Any mid range android has it. 

    The CPU difference is negligible as is the GPU if you don’t play intensive games. 

    Lack of telephoto lens is disappointing. I think the regular pixel 9 has one now. 

    So I resent being pushed to the PRO just to get a decent screen. 

    But that’s Apple all over these days. Extortionate bumps for storage, unfinished software, and withholding basic tech to make you spend more.  Sigh. But they know you will pay if you want it.

    I was sure I was going to get the 10 but I would want a decent screen that doesn’t get scratched up like my ALU S7 and every model  I’ve had prior. 
    That means paying almost as much as the Ultra which has a few advantages (as you mentioned). 
    The Ultra too is a fashion statement in itself (go big or go home lol). 
    Don’t think the s10 v s9 SOC means anything in real usage either. The extra battery might come in useful , and the flat brighter screen will be nice.
