Apple Pay to feature website integration later this year, report says
apple ][ said:I wonder if future Mac desktops and laptops will come with Touch ID and the ability to use it for Apple Pay transactions.
When your Mac requires Touch ID input, your iPhone screen wakes up and you place your finger on the sensor. Done. No need to blemish Mac design with Touch ID sensors, no need to build into insecure/vulnerable accessories like the bluetooth keyboard/trackpad/mouse, no need for any of it. Just simple and secure near field connection to iPhone.
And before you even bring it up...I don't care about the Mac user who doesn't own and iPhone not being able to use Touch ID. Not even a little. -

Piper Jaffray sees virtual reality partnerships boosting Apple's iPhone business near-term
We've been hearing about Augmented Reality features since the day App developers were granted access to the iPhone camera.
To date, nothing significant has been done with this beyond some silly gimmick Apps and other POC.
If Apple wants to do something cool, get into the Eye Wear business. I would buy my glasses from Apple, if they could connect to my iPhone the way Apple Watch does, and have modes that can be turned on or off that will show me Augmented Reality. Everything from street names, weather...and yes, even Ads.
No one is going to walk around wearing some stupid goggles, but if Apple can make some stylish eyeglasses, I would be all over it. And they don't have to be just for people with prescription glasses. Plenty of people wear sunglasses outside.
