The real issue here is that we need the right to downgrade our iOS firmware. We should have the right to return our phones to the way we first bought them. Not including all these terrible hacks, unlocks, I’m talking about with full support of Apple, and full retroactive releases of firmware. Hiding behind the scare tactic of “but but but scary vulnerabilities” just won’t cut it. Now that I took away all your lame arguments against, get going my lackies make it so. Do your job, go work. I highly disagree with this! Pull your head out of your apple coolaid ass, and realize something. Apple is dead at the wheel. Do you not realize everything Apple minus phone and iPad is dead in its tracks? The Cook is docked pay based on performance, but do you think he gives a @&;$! ? Hell no. Who loses? We all do. If you care at all about Apple write them, send feedback at Apple.com/feedback. Let them know what you want, what they are missing, what updates they need to push. Together we may be able to avoid digital climate change..a la the "digital dark ages".  

I'm buying all the 2012 i7's, yes there is a run on them. Prices are up from 350 now to 1300, on these! Why? because they are tanks, powerful, able to run dual HD's, easily upgradable, serviceable, has magsafe, and all the i/o needed. Pretty much everything opposite of the MBP 2016. $50.00 Gets you into the Amazon Echo Dot. It's seriously quite amazing. If you don't check one out due to your allegiance with Apple, I can tell you, you are missing out. The Echo dot is amazing. If you are by any small fraction a technology or gadget person, do yourself a favor and just try it out. I might add that Amazon Alexa, (echo dot) completely and absolutely works with Apple, and Homekit. To be a good Jedi, (technologist) you must know both the light and the darkside of the force. Few great points I have found using Alexa: 

•Works well with Apple/Homekit
•Can control TV, SIri cannot. (IFFT, doesn't count, as its so slow, it's not logical to wait for it to tune channels) Alexa is blazing fast at  TV and Homekit commands.
•Head to Head Alexa, is much faster than Siri.
• I have found that Alexa can do everything Siri does. Add to it "Skills" which are apps, (plugins) and Alexa can do it all.
• For the money (Value) is unmatched. If you have Netflix, or audible account, consider quitting one of these monthly services, and instead opt for amazon prime. This gets you so much for your dollar. Including music and movies streamed, all you can consume!
• Alexa has a much much much wider audience of devices it works with.
