  • YouTube TV hikes monthly subscription price to $65

LOL RIP OFF!!!  **public service announcement** BTW If you use Sarari, try  Wipr and or adgaurd (green icon) and Youtube experience becomes much better. Also "StopTheMadness" is fantastic for Safari. /EndPublicSeriviceAnnouncement.

  • Apple will switch to randomized serial numbers in early 2021

Lame. Security through obscurity not good. Apple may also be trying to disrupt the second market and further crush right to repair. Shrugs. Sad.

  • Apple pauses iOS 18, macOS 15 work to stomp bugs now

Yes please bug fix, refine, refine, refine. When special Apple iCloud features like handoff and continuity,  (copy and paste between devices; use one mouse keyboard across all devices.) works it’s amazing. The second it stops working is beyond angering/devastating.  Make these iOS sync technologies work 100% of the time, and remove the need to have so many necessary requirements and checks to “make sure” it somewhat works.  Turning on off is an easy fix, but annoying. Making sure Bluetooth is on, WiFi is on and connected to same network, settings are turned on, etc etc. is awful. Please Apple, hopefully this will improve!

  • M2 13-inch MacBook Pro may land in March with unchanged design

I will probably never purchase a notch version of any Apple product. Hideous.

  • Apple reportedly enlists aid of free-speech attorneys in encryption battle

@Wiggin, duuuuuuuude seriously. hahaha. And for those who argue just create a tool and destroy it, or update the iphone later so the tool doesn't work. Completely overlooking most of this parade/fanfare is to get Apple to admit, or display it can be done, rendering their earlier statement invalid, and AND setting a precedent for future decrypting via gov. That is what is dangerous. Oh and now if there is a known backdoor china, hackers, others have ways to your data. The entire economy of security, and encryption in america will be for nought. Flushed. Apple could also get pissed and move out of US. Can you hear the economic whirlpool of that. ?

  • Apple making display repairs harder on iPhone 13 Pro is a step too far

Apple's practice of making repair impossible is absolutely disgusting!! Not only is this bad for the environment, it is also a slap to the face of the consumer, and ultimately robs us of our rights and power; ownership. Preventing sales of apple replacement parts, making it illegal by way of printing an Apple logo on a flex cable and claiming "copyright infringement" if that part is purchased by anyone else. One of many slimy tactics apple uses to prevent repair for the masses. Disgusting!

  • Apple's Intelligent Tracking Protection can be exploited to track Safari users, says Googl...

Well gollie-gee-wiz! Will you look at that!? Google, is pointing out a security flaw in the very system that demonetizes Google’s entire platform. Ads. So nice of google to tell us Safari users we are at risk!! Wow. Guess i will start using Google Chrome now. I love CPU intensive, Memory leaking, Ad serving/Tracking software!! /end sarcasm. I’ll stick with Safari thanks.

  • Apple should not be injecting ads in its Apple Music playlists

This is Appalling! More examples of Apple being rotten include:

Sells outdated/old tech at a premium:
    - Up until a few years ago, 2019, Apple was STILL still selling iMacs with 5400 rpm drives in them! Ridiculous!
    - Constantly behind on graphics cards
    -  Uses slower RAM
    -  Up until two years ago, (2020) max WiFi speed was 802.11a/c. WiFi a/x wifi 6 not supported!

    Security/privacy
    - Plenty of virus malware in the Apple Appstore.
    - Plenty of zero day vulnerabilities still exist.
Often the reason there are so many software updates. Yet there are so many security holes in the Apple platform, often these updates lag incredibly behind. Do it right the first time is what comes to mind.
    - Apple sells/shares your data with partners
    Read the ULA’s.
Apple’s policy of telling you about all advantages, but not disclosing what’s missing is plain rotten.
    - Adverts in payed subs.
    - Often, updates remove features and apps  Network utility has been shelved. AppleScript is defunct. Safari support online is waning. Apple forces need for new hardware just to have the most up to date functioning software. (Forced obsolescence)  while other third party software like Firefox works perfectly fine on a much wider range of Macs.

    Quality of software down.

    - lots of software bugs and instability. Turning devices and settings off/on, signing out of iCloud etc to “fix” glitches is ridiculous and all too common. If all of you know that these are known fixes, shouldn’t Apple ? Apple needs to properly address this.

Apple needs a leader/leadership who actually uses the products. They need to do better.
