@Wiggin, duuuuuuuude seriously. hahaha. And for those who argue just create a tool and destroy it, or update the iphone later so the tool doesn't work. Completely overlooking most of this parade/fanfare is to get Apple to admit, or display it can be done, rendering their earlier statement invalid, and AND setting a precedent for future decrypting via gov. That is what is dangerous. Oh and now if there is a known backdoor china, hackers, others have ways to your data. The entire economy of security, and encryption in america will be for nought. Flushed. Apple could also get pissed and move out of US. Can you hear the economic whirlpool of that. ?
I highly disagree with this! Pull your head out of your apple coolaid ass, and realize something. Apple is dead at the wheel. Do you not realize everything Apple minus phone and iPad is dead in its tracks? The Cook is docked pay based on performance, but do you think he gives a @&$! ? Hell no. Who loses? We all do. If you care at all about Apple write them, send feedback at Apple.com/feedback. Let them know what you want, what they are missing, what updates they need to push. Together we may be able to avoid digital climate change..a la the "digital dark ages".
I'm buying all the 2012 i7's, yes there is a run on them. Prices are up from 350 now to 1300, on these! Why? because they are tanks, powerful, able to run dual HD's, easily upgradable, serviceable, has magsafe, and all the i/o needed. Pretty much everything opposite of the MBP 2016. Look at Macsales.com that should pretty much tell you whats up. Hey Timmy and Philly boy, keep up the good work, idiots.

I dunno man, smells awfully desperate to me. One of Steve Jobs sayings was, if it didn't suck you wouldn't have to defend it.
Well duh. First of all has NOTHING to do with Apple. Just cause apple didn't do it. VR is doomed until they can pack it to a contact lens or smaller. Nobody i mean nobody will wear those huge ass goofy ass goggles. Same problem with the lame google glasses or goggles or whatever that failure was called. Stupid tech like this is what I call the Radio-Shack days, or digital dark ages. Just doing tech for sake of it, or forcing it when its not even close is embarrassing. Making Tech just work, and therefore helpful, and therefore sorta cool, is what made Apple so great. Unfortunately Apple has been stumbling, losing its way. Confusing cool with celebrity and fashion. Farthest thing from cool.
