Given the issues that Apple has had with iPhone imaging and Apple Watch metrics working correctly for people of color, one could argue that Apple needs a lot more DEI, not less.

This article could use some actual detail on how the RTB system allows/enables data scraping of end user location information.

Both Apple and Google "play an active role in the consumer chain, providing infrastructure and conditions for the operation of FaceApp." But, that doesn't mean that developers who do this sort of thing should get a free pass.

And who will be responsible when alternate app stores are enabled?

Besides the developer, as they are also now, obviously whoever runs whatever App Store that offers the app. I mean, seems pretty straightforward, right? You run an App Store, you have an obligation not to distribute malware or privacy violating apps.
