It's interesting to see how Jobs basically poo-pooed smaller form tablets, then after his passing Apple realized there was a market for them etc, and releases the mini. They have positioned their hardware into a three tier product line, just like in the late 90's (good/better/best). Makes perfect sense. -

Same goes for all of my Apple equipment. Most of my gear is at the 5 year mark now and I recently ditched a 10-year old MBP and another 9-year old MBP just after Mojave came out. -

Adobe's software is awesome. XD lags behind Sketch mostly because of the current ecosystem of plugins, but I believe it will soon be more than a match. Photoshop and InDesign are way ahead of everyone else in their respective areas. There is not any similar software on earth I would even consider to replace those, even if it was free.
