First of all, people tend to keep their Macs longer before upgrading and overall the PC market is flat. Apple runs it's Mac division at a pretty healthy profit compared to Windows based counterparts. It's a pretty decent business, for Apple, and the only real blind spot (besides USB-C on some models) is lack of a professional tower that is expandable via PCIe cards, etc.

Here we go again. Apple is NOT abandoning Intel on the Mac! I wouldn't be surprised however to see an AMD processor show up, in the Mac, at some point.

MacOS = Intel/x86
iOS = ARM

At some point, I believe Apple will need to revisit it's retail strategy. Large malls are declining, in many areas, as online takes a larger share of consumer's wallets...

I worked at Apple when we introduced the Macintosh Portable. It was big, clunky, slow, and had a horrible display. Not bad for $7,300 ;-)
