  • Hands on: Apple's iPhone XR brings color and value to the 2018 lineup

As long as it does not come as SIM-free it is not worth penny. Also $750 is not cheap for phone that basically requires that you have to be on iCloud (no I do not use it or plan to use it for number of reasons that Apple did not sort out so far). Hardware is good - the attached strings to it are not so good. This is phone in the first place for Pete's sake!

  • Samsung working on cheaper option for 'Galaxy S10,' just like Apple's iPhone XR

All along Samsug's phone success is closely copying Apple. Here come again.
You have brainwahed info. Many times that was Apple who copied idea (since stary of smartphones), but improved on quality of the solution. Start seeeing facts - not sticking to Apple this, Apple that all the time. You coiuld be surprized what was there a year before Apple released to market. I am fed with those false cliams that everything was copied from Apple. Some ideas was also replicated by Apple from others including biometrics that wsa on Samsung phones a year befrore Apple released them. Go out and check facts - they are not here in group of religious Apple fans that start acting like Microsoft crowd I have seen in '90 and later.

  • Apple working on car windshield anti-glare system to protect driver from bright lights

This is the first sign of Apple not only interested in the hardware and construction of an automobile, but also the integration of driver and self-driving vehicle. Seems like a pointless patent even if it's purely defensive. By the time any of this tech will be produced, it will probably be illegal for human drivers to operate their vehicles on public roads.
You are funny. There will be many oulaws thne including myself. I wonder those robocops who will stop anyone of us. After all they should be patrolling right?

  • Future iPhones could automatically detect nuisance callers using spoofed phone numbers

It is just enough for telecommunication companies to check if line is registered to anyone and if it is open (in use currently by subscriber - this can be done and I had that as solution to someone spoofing my line for some activity years ago). Also Apple as first step could allow blocking not by number, but by all blocks of numbers settings. I also find blocking by schedule primitive - there is different schedule for business days and for weekend/holidays, but they do not seem to support it. On top of that why do I need to agree to any software to give access to my contacts? You are supposed to get access to my blocking list. It is none of anybody's business what my contacts are when we are talking about blocking (I might block even some of my contacts temporarily). This logic should be straightend out and we will be closer to solution.

  • Compared: Apple News versus Google News and Microsoft News -- which is the best for you?

First of all let's focus on content and subscriptions. Look and feel is secondary if I receive mediocre news or biased news towards one or the other direction (media interpretation of facts is not news - plain reporting is news).
