Do not tell it outloud. Apple will make all effort to kill that tool to sell more new hardware. It made all effort on the past hardware to make almost impossible to install systems like Linux on their hardware to reuse it. Yes system that in basic form (an many times in competitive form of Ubuntu desktop) can be installed on almost anything you can find in PC scrap. I do not believe it was for perofrmance reasons purely. Also before we jump on conclusion that Apple modern solutions require hardware I have just found out from a freind who just left them that there is a lot to be desired in their system quality area... especially on Macs. Time to listen to expereinced engineers rather than having cocky programmers who do not understand where all it goes and how it always ends.

Actually missing tool that is far more important because of vision and Apple sucks at custmization for personal needs as far as screen use. That is called font and content scaler (not talking about one app or few system fonts - all content is in question). Bringing more pixels with tiny content is not what many people need. Bring scaler so that resolution could be adjusted to users needs. So far only TinkerTool is doing part of this job on fonts and not on all. I do not care if I have 4K or zillion-k on 27 inch screen. I use 32 inch screen and I still want bigger content to find information faster and not struggle. You will get to this age soon - then you will see that even glasses do not help (not looking for selective eye scans across display while chasing information).

Quite alot in Europe. Apple in Europe is marginal comparing to Huawei.

Quad core for sure and upgradable memory with minimum 8GB and perhaps make 16GB standard. As far as drive, whatever aPPle wants to promote as long as this computer does not cost $1200. It is suppposed to be small yet powerful "PC" to do some daily with separate screen (make sure that it can be 4K minimum).

That is bold statement to make that something is the best without providing valid comparisons. Not a very professional way to make the claim. I would say it depends on aspect and I would say that Apple made things very comfortable, but that does not mean it is absolute. I would be also careful as Apple is not in the field of headphones and there are other who specialize in that area while being top shelf above sound quality provided by Apple earphones. Seriously. It is not the best. Maybe the most versatile, but there is nothing as "the best" in this area. As far as sound all Apple earphones laeft a lot to be desired when it comes to comparing with Sennheisers for example.
