  • 'iPhone SE 2' has iPhone X-style screen and notch according to case vendor

It seems that people who don’t care about small phones think this potential/rumoured SE ‘2’ is silly or unlikely, but to those who prefer smaller phones it’d be awesome. My wife hasn’t bothered to upgrade her phone because she doesn’t want a big phone—why should people like her only have the option of getting the leftovers at budget prices? She’s willing to pay for the latest and greatest phone if it’s smaller.

I’d even consider trading in my X for this SE if it ends up being real. I don’t particularly like big phones either (but the existing SE screen is too small and the screen/display technology is comparatively old, even though it’s a decent product).
Exactly reason I do not upgrade and stay even with iPhone 5S. It is less likely to break screen while business iPhone 6 accidently dropped lost glass after one month. Too big screen too much exposure and to bulky tu put in pocket. I am not carrying devices in hands as I find it awkward and thi is not activity I prefer on streets. If I want to have big screen I carry iPad Mini perhaps on hotspot with my smalliPhone. That is exactly what I do when I need to sit down and surf for any reason or read anything. Phone is communication device only and many probably do not care about apps on it. It is simple: there is no size that fits all. Keep small, medium and large for people to choose from for their needs and styles.

  • Bloomberg obsessed with Google's Pixel, Apple's iPhone Supply Chain -- but not Google's Pi...

I think Google influences the media quite a bit.  This was covered in the news awhile back.

I also agree that Apple stock is manipulated.  I can’t prove it, but the pattern has been happening for awhile now.
"A bit". Biasing searches is known techique.

  • Apple Watch heart rate monitor saves Florida teen's life

When the Apple Watch gets a little more medically aware and stories like this one spread Apple won't be able to make enough of them. They will be flying off the shelves. So much for the negative blathering here about how the Watch doesn't do anything more than the iPhone and is therefore useless and redundant and won't sell and is a fail for Apple. Millions will be wearing them. Oh wait, they already are!
You think so? There were monitors like that 10-15 years ago for half price. In fact I bought one and sent overseas for family member with terminal ilness. Nothing new. Yes they will be sold because of hype - not because of some special features that are new on the market. Thise hear rate monitors were not cool at the time - Apple watch is cool and in fashion. That is it. Nothing more.

  • Analyst says Apple may forego Lightning-to-3.5mm adapter for new iPhones

Start supporting input (not just output) from other vendor dongles and I do not care. No I will not wear those "earings" because I do not like to stuff my ears with some devices plus they leak sound like sieve. I prefer quality over ear stuff - not fashinable gadgets.
