I don’t know how true this is but a French friend told me that protesting is considered normal in France. It this true then I wonder if Apple has properly considered the possibility of a backlash against it for its legal action?
Protesting is Normal in the U.S. also. The point is they were doing it INSIDE the Apple store. That they can't do. There's not a store out there that would be OK with that. Protesting outside on Public Property in front of a Apple store is what they should have done. So long as they're not blocking the entrance so people can come and go.
That is true. Also Apple took very mild action. Protesters might be removed from private property by security or police force. You can protest away from private property - on private property you do not have any rights to even stay if owner or leasing company say so. I think some people in Europe forgot about those general rules... or there is odd law that allows for that. That would be too bad.

You sound like an market expert. How about taking profit only if company is doing well? That is is called shares. You may research some trading aspects before stating opinions. Finance - my daily work.

This is at least the second time Apple altered iPhone behavior then was forced to restore it.  Apple is lacking key person who really understand how iPhone should function.
Ah yes, they need one person to prevent any bug from existing in millions of lines of code. Of course.

Sorry bro, but that isn't how software works. I'm on a much smaller endeavor with a much smaller team, and every new release and change introduces risk. Unforeseen things happen because humans. There will never be a day when software exists free of bugs. And even if Apple were to implement a feature freeze to fix all bugs, besides being impossible it would take years and then you'd be whining about "Apple is stagnant!" etc.

Just deal with the reality and stop expecting Apple to obtain some unachievable level of perfection.
Maybe you need to learn better software developent process. I manage team on this and in Development Operations in finance you have far more complex systems and risky problems. Mind you that on one floor you could be working with processing apps with more code lines than entire Mac OS and iOS. Try that. It requires process. Try to automate testing: unit testing and regression testing properly. Yes we do have offshore teams to do this work so Apple could do this as well. Do you think investment bank has less code than than Apple or Microsoft? Wrong.

  • Apple's $4,999 all-in-one iMac Pro launches Thursday, Dec. 14

What's the purpose? Just mac Mac Pro with processing power like this. No Apple displays is even near to EIZO or NEC professional graphic design monitors. That is top shelf above average pocket. We need processing unit with solid system - nothing else. That is not prosumer or regular consumer.

  • As fans await update for 3-year-old Mac mini, Apple classifies mid-2011 models 'obsolete'

The funny part Mac Mini-2014 was obsolete by any market category on day of release. Do you really want to compare quad-core Mac Mini from mid-2011 with only dual-core version from 2014? Seriously?

Someone really tries to lose market. Just like people starting switch to Samsung Galaxy Note8 I hear around. Dragging people and dropping some of features to sort out marketting issues (like Mac Mini cutting in low end Mac Pro space) is not people's problem. There are alternatives. One of them make MacPro 6-core standard instead of dropping multitasking performance on lower end computers.
