Early AirPods Max teardown reveals massive drivers, strategically placed logic boards
mike54 said:With all that fancy circuitry in there, I guess there is no room for just a simple on/off switch.I'm hoping for a much cheaper version, that sounds decent, with the same level of ANC, H1 chip, but without the spacial computational audio stuff, no gyro's and I don't even need a sensor in each ear cup to pause sound.
I have ordered a pair of these headphones and am looking forward to testing them out,, but am puzzled by lack of an on/off switch. I have yet to hear of a single justification for this.

Apple debuts new MacBook Air with Apple Silicon M1 chip
wattouk said:The only real disappointment for me is that in the year 2021 we will still be using a 720p camera on an Apple laptop.
I do a lot of FaceTime calls on my current MacBook Pro but the quality is pretty bad, especially in low light. I’d have loved both the air and pro to have had a camera bump to 1080p with low light improvements - shame. -

Great, that's the Cook Way. ߙ䦬t;/div>If you don’t think the value proposition works for you, don’t buy it. Frankly I’m surprised they didn’t raise the price - this little thing called inflation means they are already grossing less just from that alone. If you want cheap crap there are plenty of other vendors to choose from out there. Have at it. I have no problem paying more for a better experience. -
First benchmark indicates A14 is major upgrade from A13

But have to wonder... there has to be a limit, a wall that must be reached at some point with current chip fabrication\materials. Every year we keep hearing that in just a years time the new cpu is XX percentage better than the one before it. The other thing is the phones are so good right now, does it really matter in real life daily use?
