Perhaps a tariff on all goods imported from Indonesian equivalent to Apple's investment will change their mind. I would also suggest such a tariff on all good imported from EU countries should they continue their planned punitive actions against Apple equalling a 10% tax on Apple's global sales. Hit them where it hurst the most then sit back and listen to the screaming from their manufacturers.

    Does anyone besides me have a problem reading text on 4K monitors?  I have the text set to the highest Apple makes available but it is still very small: The maximum finder font size of 16pt type on a 4K is about the equivalent of 8pt type. And the toolbar type can't be made larger at all.  No questions that images render beautifully, but being in the graphic design business, readable type is a necessity. If you know of a widget that can modify type on a Mac pro, would love to know. Any Terminal commands?

    So don’t enter the contest. This is too much about nothing. You are, perhaps unaware that EVERY photo you store on Google is usable by them without your consent and no remuneration. You seem to have failed the one thing necessary for any editorial comment: knowledge about your subject.

    That may be Apple's new standard, but it sure as hell isn't mine. It reflects shoddy construction and bad engineering. And it shouldn't bend under normal use (which doesn't include sitting on it). Apple seems to think that the public is begging for thinner and lighter ipads and iPhones.  NO WE ARE NOT! We want innovation, quality, and durability, and if it means it's a millimeter thicker or 5 grams heavier, who gives a damn!

    Apple are cutting corners in an attempt  to sustain their profits, it's a sad indictment of shareholder greed.
    Don't blame the shareholders...we don't manufacture the product, price it, or sell it. We don't write the PR releases or defend Apple's mistake (of which there are many). What we do is invest in the company because it represents good value. It has nothing to do with greed, unless you think that taking a risk that you can lose your money on the chance that you will perhaps make money is greed. And by the way, that investment in Apple is what has made possible your ability to buy its products. If you don't like them, don't buy them, but learn something about stock investment before you make a stupid claim about greed.

    Rather unfortunate headline to refer to a battery case and "leaks" in the same line. Does anyone at AppleInsider even proof these stories?
