Perhaps a tariff on all goods imported from Indonesian equivalent to Apple's investment will change their mind. I would also suggest such a tariff on all good imported from EU countries should they continue their planned punitive actions against Apple equalling a 10% tax on Apple's global sales. Hit them where it hurst the most then sit back and listen to the screaming from their manufacturers.

Apple adds $50B to capital return program, increases quarterly dividend by 10%
The share price of Apple stock is a bargain right now, and Apple is wisely buying up shares on the cheap. When I bought 100 shares of Apple about 8 years ago it was at $95/share, but that was before the 6/1 split. At today's price my $9500 is worth $73,500. Apple believes, as do I, that history will repeat itself. I continue to invest my dividends in small Apple purchases of about 10 shares a year. I believe in the company because while they can sometimes be maddingly annoying and high-handed, they make a superior product that I have used since 1982. Buy what you know. -
What Apple would have to do to comply with Donald Trump's American-built mandate
It wouldn't just be Apple. ALL manufacturing would have to be brought home. You can't single out one company. It would essentially be the end of the USA as all nations would become economic protectionists, buying only those goods they manufacture. Which is why we have a congress that is very business-oriented, and why we will never have to worry about Trump being elected. And a little tip to Tralala...the last thing in the world the Republican party wants is full employment. Unemployment in 8% range is most desirable as it keeps wages down. You anti-Democrat stance is a evidence of your ignorance about world economies. -
