Let me give you an example as a former employee, of Apple’s BS: I had a 17 inch MacBook pro and it developed bowing on the lower bezel of the aluminum display. 

As a Mac genius (at the time) we all knew that the display assembly was too heavy for the hinges and the stress manifested along the lower bezel after normal use of opening and closing the display. 

So I assumed that I could send it to the repair depot without worry. Because everyone knew about this issue. Instead the repair depot folks said it was “accidental damage” and when I explained everything they called my manager and accused me of using my employee status to get “preferential” treatment. 

Y’all. Believe people when they say there’s an issue. This is just one example of the BS. Go on with your idiocy. 

Clearly the AppleTV doesn’t have or need such sensors.   Implementing spatial audio would require a modification of some kind in the methodology that Apple uses to achieve the effect, perhaps acoustic mapping from the HomePod lineup or some other method. It does support traditional (higher quality) surround sound on your headphones though. 

As for the remote not having find my functionality. I feel like the answer given is stupid and lazy. You go through all this work to design UWB, and NOT add it to the remote. Lazy. 

The redesigned remote I don’t like at all. I don’t like the click of the buttons. I don’t like how the black plastic feels nor how it picks up oils from the fingers. Makes it look dirty very quickly. Don’t even get me started on the scroll wheel jumping back and forth.

Sometimes Apple releases something like this remote that is an embarrassment to their design team. Sometimes they make stupid decisions that create inconsistencies for customers. It doesn’t happen often. But this remote. Yuck.
