If photos are reappearing years after you deleted them, this 17.5 bug only exposed the fact that Apple was somehow retaining the deleted photos. This 17.5.1 update only re-hides that egregious violation of privacy.  Tim Cook bad!

It's comical to suggest that the Pixel Watch is a competitor to the Apple Watch.  It could be a competitor to the Galaxy Watch but no threat, considering how few people have Pixel phones.  All the Pixels sold since 2016 wouldn't even be a tenth of what Samsung sold in 2021.

The article begs the key question, 'have the 3rd party apps been updated for the new iPhone camera?'   From what I read elsewhere, third-party camera apps like Halide are fine.  So like the problem is with the social media apps.

Given the circumstances here, we have to believe a CM stole the watch and quickly guessed or knew the required user passcode to use the wallet.  And of course, the person who lost the watch neglected to mark the watch as lost on their phone and took no action to contact their credit card company before the 40K fraud occurred.    The CM thief must have gone to a jewelry store and bought some diamonds or a Rolex watch.   That’s quite fantastical; I wonder what we’re missing from the story.
