I think that this practice by Apple is misleading and not transparent.  It's sleazy marketing.
Did you even read the article, or just register to troll?

As an Apple site, why no mention Apple and their iPad  commercial crushing all the humanity out of art and music into computer generated art?

Maybe because — that is just one interpretation? Apple likely intended it to be a fun way to show "condensing a full stage into your device", which is a different interpretation. In any form of art, interpretation is a huge aspect, and yet the loudest group tends to win over in the end. It's a shame because it was a fun commercial.
Indeed, a storm in a teacup.
Weird people are not happy if there's nothing to complain about in life. Very strange.

I wouldn't trust the color accuracy of that photo one bit. The lighting for the photo was awful too.
Usually they look different in store from leaked photos. It could easily look more like the top model in the image below, which looks fine:

Not to trolls and negative nellies it doesn't. All the little children trying to score points by being so negative, especially when it's not forced upon them, they don't have to choose it, but they come in here to announce, "ugly, not for me. poo." What fucking juveniles.

It's bronze, people. Not beige, not the dirt brown of the Microsoft Zune media player.

Anyhow, if this rumor ends up being true, judgment should be passed with some better product photography or better yet, an in-person visual assessment rather than some dodgy X photo that may or may not be true. With generative AI in 2024, these types of photos can be easily churned out.

More than ever, it's foolhardy to believe everything you read/see on the Internet as fact without doing a minimum of due diligence. Which can't happen before Apple officially announces their next generation iPhone family.

This thread is a good example of assessing who is naive and who isn't.

I see we now have entered the future where we predict the price of a product before anyone knows what it does or what it is for.
And of course condemn one way or the other like the prediction is reality.
