I’m not confident about 5nm, much less anything smaller. We’re actually seeing transistor efficiency go down since 14nm. It’s been small so far, but the smaller we go, the worse it will get. And certain on chip structures are becoming impossible to make because there’s not enough room at these small sizes. While I think TSMC has claimed that thy will be using a modified FinFet for 5nm, a lot of chip designers have said that FinFet doesn’t work properly at smaller than 7nm, and not as well there as in 10nm.

so I’m skeptical right now. I’ll believe it when I see it, as they say.

Having worked in the semiconductor industry over 15 years ago; A LOT has changed.  But, one of the major problems that always got worse with each die shrink, was the Lithography steps.  I can't imagine how you can mask your layers, with only 5nm geometries.  After awhile, physics simply stops you.

This is where the adage of "Don't poo where you sleep" comes from.
Was that relationship worth a multi-million dollar salary?  If you date someone at work, you are playing a dangerous game.  If things turn sour, and a bulk of relationships do this, then all it takes is an HR complaint, and your career is ended. 

It is rare in the extreme for a man to file a sexual harassment complaint against a female coworker, especially after a relationship has ended; however the opposite is not true.

As a professional with over 25 years experience, I would advise you to find your dates OUTSIDE of where you work.  The risk/reward ratio is not in your favor.

With nVidia's Pascal family out, the competition is fierce. Historically speaking, every time a competitor comes out that closes the performance gap with nVidia, all nVidia does is update their published driver and activates another section of their chip - enabling hidden additional performance capabilities.

I had a mysterious crack down the middle of my Series 2 Watch occur almost a year into owning the watch.  No scratches, no impact marks, the watch simply cracked down the middle.  I took it into Apple, they over-night shipped it to the repair, it was fixed within 48 hours and overnight shipped back to me.  All 100% free, with a written appology for my inconvenience.

So, I fail to see what the lawsuit is about, as I recognize that manufacturing defects occur, whenever you make millions of anything.  My experience was handled professionally, promptly and politely.

The 2012 Mac Mini bumped with 16GB of RAM, easily outperforms any new Mac Mini that is currently being sold, so I fail to understand why they would obsolete this line anytime soon.  Add a SSD to the 2012 Mac Mini, and it's a remarkably fast and stable platform, especially if you can get your hands on one of the i7 models.  What's more, the 2012 Mac Mini sported the capablilty to add TWO SATA drives, which means you could easily add two SDD drives, and wind up with quite a little screamer.

I fail to understand why Apple would remove the capability from the user, to upgrade the Mac Mini, when this was BUILT INTO this platform, from the beginning.  Steve Jobs created the Mac Mini to give the budget conscious consumer, a low-cost of entry into the wonderful world of Apple, and Tim Cook as done everything in his power to poison this wonderful little device.

Tim, stop poisoning the well.  It's counter-producive, and it's not winning you any new customers.
