Kinda agrees. Over the years since the first Watch at launch day (now on sorta my 2nd one), its value to the health improvements and expenditure which would have otherwise been spent on healthcare treatments, diagnostics, consultations, medications, etc will likely been at least 5-10 times more than the cost of the two Watches. Was frequently bed-ridden 1-2 years before the arrival of first Watch.

While it is yet to be proven, I am now sorta able to get early warnings of a migraine or serious headache coming up. This is based on several stats being off-normal (e.g. sudden dip in blood oxygen level into the high 70s to low 80s).

‘Monopoly’? What a joke this lawsuit is.

There are COVID-19 contact tracing apps which are backed by Government and its Healthcare agency from other countries that have been approved and still available in App Store. How would that be a ‘Monopoly’?

I believe Apple was in partnering talks with a European car company a couple of years ago that fell through.  Kia’s small enough, but competent enough, to gain both dollars and cachet partnering with Apple, so definitely an interesting rumor.

I thought KIA was bought over by Hyundai some time before 2000?

Serious hope Apple has learnt from their Samsung saga. Korean firms will just end up making copycat versions of the same tech/features in their own models.

Just wondering, from a different perspective.....

In the past, there may be little incentives that appeal to the tech companies in China to invest good $ in R&D and develop its own capabilities end-to-end, given there are readily available components, chips, etc from US and others.

What if all these blacklisting by the US just pushes them up to a corner hence sufficient incentives to expedite R&D to strengthen its end-to-end abilities, and build products that people wants and at fraction of the price. From an old Chinese saying - “a dog can jump fences when cornered”. It will be very interesting to revisit where China and US are by 2025-2030.
