How Apple Watch became the iPod of the future
SnRa said:razormaid said:I think the thing that's even more amazing... the Watch requires an iPhone to run it so for every watch there's an iPhone user too. Knowing how many iPhone users there are world wide once Watch becomes more accessible (understood it's purpose) the sales will go even higher.
I guess you missed the part about my friend isn't allowed iPhones in the pharmacy which means both of us would have trouble sending a quick message. Or I could call the central Walgreens line -> then wait to get to centralized pharmacy-> then request to be transferred to his stores' pharmacy-> then wait for that call-> just to get his lunch order? Instead he leaves his phone in locker and gets my texts (even phone calls) via his Watch. Not to mention he gets to look up drug interactions through the RX App from his Watch when he can't get to a screen because they're so busy? How would that work on say Fitbit? I'm assuming you know how to do all that on Fitbit?
so yeah... tethered to the iPhone (computer) yet super slim and small? Yeah I think this pretty amazing we can do all that just from the watch -

I enjoyed it too. I think the thing that's even more amazing... the Watch requires an iPhone to run it so for every watch there's an iPhone user too. Knowing how many iPhone users there are world wide once Watch becomes more accessible (understood it's purpose) the sales will go even higher.
I didnt buy one for myself because I use PowerBeats 2 for texting, phone calls, etc but I bought one for my othe half because he's a pharmacy manager and would not be able to use a headset at work. Also they don't allow the phones out in the pharmacy but with the watch I can find watch he wants for lunch, what time to bring it and of course the extremely important sports scores. LOL
I was waiting for second generation Watch so I'll buy the next one for sure -

Review: Moxiware Apple Pencil Magnet is simple, affordable and functional
nolamacguy said:my desk has a pen & pencil jar. my backpack has pen slots. my satchel has pen slots. I'm really not understanding all the butthurt about there being no where to store the Pencil. how would I be transporting my pro away from my desk without a bag of some sort? sounds like pointless nitpicking to me.
"My desk has a pen & pencil jar"
i SERIOUSLY do NOT recommend anyone shoving their $100 Pencil into a pencil jar. That tip it so delicate I would be scared to death of ruining or damaging it or worse it pull off if it caught onto others things in the jar.
"My my backpack has slots"
So while working your teammates working on the same project says "I'm not sure. Bring it in and let's take a look at it", (meaning your design and your iPad Pro where your design is on). Rather than clipping it magnetically to the side of the iPad and going down a flight of stairs to the third office on the left, you're going to take your backpack so it can house the pencil on the way because you're taking your coffee with you?
You say we're missing the point, but maybe we're not the ones missing the point? We're just "pointing out" (nice pun huh?) that Apple could have finished the design BEFORE releasing it to the public, rather than try to fix it on Pencil v.2 (which you know they will)
just sayin'...

Apple debunks rumors that it will stop selling iTunes downloads
That said...
have you ever tried to BUY a song you heard in Apple Music? I must have clicked 20 different links. They do NOT want you to buy anything! i had to literally exit Apple Music and enter the iTunes music app.
There may be something to this. Otherwise why not "hear a song -> like a song -> but that song?"
I've mentioned this before, but it's worth mentioning again: "just because you can buy music and see it in the iTunes Store does NOT mean Apple has a contract to allow it to stream in Apple Music."
Case in point: classical music.
I work on commercial dance music all day long as a dance remixer. When I'm not working I ONLY listen to classical. I tested Apple Music and it only had 1% of the classical music found in the "buy music" site. Had they had even 50% of the titles, I would have kept Apple Music but for me it was terrible. To see this yourself pick a popular title "The Messiah". On Apple Music there's 6 recordings. On the iTunes buy music site there's 1,000's of recordings.
If Apple could get new contracts on all titles (that's because you need one contract to sell and a completely different one to stream) to allow streaming of all the 'paid for songs' from iTunes Store, yes I would consider, but it will never happen!
