I’m thinking based on changes being made in iOS 12 and considering a new 4K output resolution in the beta that USB-C is coming with the next iPad. Given the thinness and the USB-C port, it may be necessary to square the edges.

I also think it’s possible that Apple could develop and combination port to handle both USB-C and Lightning in the same port or have both, one on either end.

And the fun part is, the iPhone XS A12 chip runs faster than the chips in these before they add the ‘X’ after it.  The A12X is going to be a beast especially because it’s optimized with Metal and leveraging that for AI and machine learning.

I’m not a lawyer, but if I’m following this correctly...

Apple purchases the rights to existing but abandoned trademarks using a subsidiary which Apple always does to avoid rumors and paying way too much for these things.

So when Apple found out that there was another trademark that was filed, they attempted to buy it, but the company foolishly said no instead of entertaining the request. Apple didn’t have to buy it since they already had the trademark, but they tried.

So a foolish company that used a term that doesn’t provide marketing value could have sold it to Apple but instead got outclassed by a company steeped in copyright law and is now grasping for scraps.

I thought my new iPhone XS Max battery wasn’t doing good the first day, but it made it. However since then, I think the battery has been improving. Keep in mind that the phone is doing a lot of downloading and processing after it gets set up which means the first day or two I wouldn’t use as a basis for battery life.

The headline should really read, “Android Manufacturer Further Erodes Their Own Profitability”
