At one point in my life I had to take large numbers of pills several times per day. My first reaction to this story was: You don't down the whole handful at once.

I mean seriously, you take two or three at a time with a gulp of water. It reduces the chance of choking on them. If she'd done that she'd have noticed one was shaped really weird for a pill. Looking at the pile of pills she presumably had to take, yes it was daft that she could make this mistake.
Maybe she is well practiced in taking big things into her mouth up to deep throat.  So she won't be chocking on a handful number of pills.

The new iMac looks great IMHO, and as the article states, feels very Ivy-ian. Several products now balance usability and design better.
However the Mac Studio looks ugly and the designers didn't have the balls to move beyond stacking two Minis together; a wasted opportunity.
I hope the new Mac Pro and iMac Pro will show a more ambitious design.

The Studio is engineering, not form driven. The chip needed a mongo heat sink and there was no way to do that without ending up with that form. Personally I like it. It’s a clean design that has ports on the front and a fan that’s quiet.
Your words sound like product design can be only engineering driven and never (even partially) as a form driven.

Not 100% true about digital yuan.

Many mainland Chinese are using a message app called WeChat. You can do a lot more thing than WhatsApp or iMessage. People can put money in their WeChat account and e-transfer money to other or use it to pay for services and buy things online.

So preemptive to stop using digital yuan  in US is actually a good thing.
Agreed. The author is coming from an ideology not consistent with real life.

Would also be great if USA based companies were restricted from investing hundreds of billions of dollars into countries that hates the USA.
Correction. What you really want to say is "Would also be great if USA based companies were restricted from investing hundreds of billions of dollars into countries that the USA hates."
That’s not correction. That’s a falsehood and distortion.

The original intent was to point out that USA based companies should not be investing hundreds of billions into funding countries thst hate the USA - such as China.

It seems by contradicting him you imply that USA loves those countries who hate USA.
