  • Three App Store classics are re-launching soon on Apple Arcade

More proof this is just a mobile game service blown up for other devices like Mac and Apple TV. I wish it had big games.

Also, Apple messed up by not making Arcade games literally exclusive. They already allowed to appear on consoles.
If they have done it - made it exclusive, then many developers would just stay away from Arcade. The developers would just publish their games in the App Store like they usually did, and have the option to publish it on any other platform.
This would have led to the worse game selection on Apple Arcade. It would have been less popular, other devolopers might have considered not to publish their games on Apple Arcade. This would made it even less popular.
    Apple Arcade could have failed.

I am personally for the broader selection and access to entertainment.
It makes me frustrated when I can't find a movie on Apple TV, and I need to subscribe or buy it on another platform.

  • Early benchmarks prove M1 iPad Pros are 50% faster than previous generation

Let’s hope they extend iPadOS (whilst not recreating the mistakes of desktop OS’) rather than let it run macOS. Anyone who’s tried to run virtual desktops on an iPad, or tried to use Microsoft Windows with their finger, knows why that’s a terrible idea.
Just thinking out loud here; what would you, or anyone else, think of those virtual desktops being VR desktops. Using your Apple glasses, connected to your iPad, you can easily see as many ‘workspaces’ as you want. Navigating this environment with a mouse is near impossible in this 3-D world. But with your hands being read by the LiDAR on the iPad, you can now completely control the VR world. Sounds like something the M1 was designed to do.
OMG, that would be so cool.

  • UK class action over App Store commission could cost Apple $2B

Well, sure, at the end, this is the customer who pays !  What a revelation !
You suppose they realize that taxes are also paid by the end consumer?
Yes, in particular - value added tax. It is just passed to the consumer  - from the very beginning to the very end - through out the whole chain of product/service creation.

  • Apple acquired malware detection firm SourceDNA in 2016

This helps Apple, not Epic. It shows Apple is taking security seriously as they been saying so they is why they don’t want to let anyone load any crap on their store.

how does this help Epic? These Epic Chinese communists need to get their brains checked
I might have missed, but where does it say in the article that it was revealed and presented as evidence by Epic?

It seems that Apple presented it. They want to show that their review process brings value to the consumer, and it's not that easily replaceable by just setting up alternative shops on iOS.
