Apple's new leather MacBook Sleeve is finely crafted and high quality -- but at a cost
Given the cost I'll need to buy another sleeve to protect this sleeve that protects my MBP... market opportunity for the "meta-sleeve". But seriously yes it's way expensive, but Apple is a premium brand... Just wait for the Hermes edition... Hermes for similar products charges between 1300-2000... now that's stupid insane -
Foxconn's Wisconsin deal riskier for taxpayers than originally thought
Well of course... if you're looking at a negotiation between a massive, well run corporation that probably has a army of wicked sharp negotiators vs. a quasi-second world level state with a bunch of bozo C-class (maybe a B player at the top) bureaucrats who do you think will absolutely clean up in the deal... with citizens left holding the bag in the long term -

Apple's Mac mini now inexcusably getting trounced by cheap Intel hardware

BYOD - Mac (Mini ) Mac Pro
AIO - iMac iMac Pro
Lap - MacBook MacBook Pro
Tablet - iPad iPad Pro
Phone - iPhone iPhone "Pro"
In each element of the matrix that has displays 2 options max. In the others you can scale CPU/RAM/Storage.
And if you say no one would buy a Mac Mini then you have to logically say that no one would buy an iMac... frankly plenty of people have a display, keyboard, mouse... I'm at the point of throwing displays away (1080... as I move to 4k). I don't want to be forced to buy an AIO when I've got 4k displays hanging around (and waiting for the 32 inch Philips 8K to come out this year). After that I want to upgrade the machine every cycle, but don't need to upgrade the display for ~4 year at least -
