  • Redesigned Apple Watch with larger screen, enhanced battery life and health features due i...

There seems to be a lot of wasted space on the Apple Watch around the display - just look at that wide border! My aging eyes would welcome a larger screen as long as it didn't make the body of the watch larger. Anything larger than the body of the 38mm Apple Watch looks "too big" on my small wrist.

  • Apple becoming more open about product placements in TV shows

In at least a couple of episodes of ABC's The Middle, Frankie is seen using a non-Apple laptop with an overlay of what appears to be OS X.

The gray laptop was from an episode in March 2013 while the black one (HP?) was from October 2015.

Another episode of The Middle back in 2012 ("Hecking it Up") basically served as a commercial for a Volkswagen as the Heck family gushed over the borrowed use of their neighbor's Passat.

  • Shuttering Toys 'R' Us stores in United States put Apple products on clearance

My smaller town of 80,000 is 120 miles from the nearest Apple store. Walmart and Target have low-end electronics. Best Buy has become somewhat of a showroom for online retailers who sell cheaper and/or without sales tax. Most of my purchases have been diverted to Apple.com, Amazon.com, and BHPhotoVideo.com.

With RadioShack gone, I can no longer jaunt across town for the occasional $0.50 capacitor, diode, or resistor. I have to order 99 more than I need, pay 20x the value of the component in shipping charges, and wait a day or two for the order to arrive.

The first time I ever stepped foot in Kmart was when they closed. I left empty-handed because the "clearance" prices were too high.

I stopped buying tools and appliances at Sears years ago when they started outsourcing and the quality went way down.

  • Netflix bringing vertical video previews to iPhone app in April

GRRR. I HATE video previews. So much so that I've resorted to using my Apple TV 3's for Netflix. It's the sound that bothers me most.

Netflix should allow this annoying and bandwidth-wasting feature to be disabled.

  • Cupertino official warned Apple of potential Apple Park glass impacts 9 months ago

Instead of cheap and tacky "black, rectangular stickers", I would have had the Apple logo etched into the glass.
